Stovetop Jasmine Rice
Ingredients
- 1 cup dry jasmine rice
- 1.5 cups liquid
Directions
Place the rice & liquid in a pan; bring to a boil over high heat. Let it boil for one minute. Then place a lid on the pan, turn the stove down to the notch just above low, and cook undisturbed for 15 minutes. At the 15 minute mark, carefully tilt the pan to the side and take a quick peek under the lid to make sure the water is all absorbed. If it’s not, maybe cook it for another minute or so? Remove from heat and keep covered. Fluff before serving.
